Spearphising: Curiosity is Main Culprit for Clicks

    Research done by Zinaida Benenson showed that 34% of those in a test group who received a test spearfishing email  had ended up clicking the link provided out of sheer curiosity. The recipients admitted they didn’t know the sender, but clicked on the provided links anyways even though roughly 78% knew that links from unidentified senders could be dangerous. Read more at Dark Reading.
