In a survey by Callcredit Information Group, the organization found that employee access to social media and BYOD device policies were the biggest perceived internal threats to data security. While companies are still worried about external threats to their information, the fraud managers and directors surveyed perceived the risk of an internal vulnerability as higher than that of an external threat.
