Lenovo’s SHAREit app was patched today after a major security flaw was revealed. The security flaw comes in the way that the app stores a temporary password. The password is defaulted to one of the simplest passwords to crack and is hard-coded, making the data stored within the app particularly vulnerable. Read more at Threat Post.
