Address Bar Spoofing Found in Chrome, Firefox, and Other Browsers

    Popular web browsers such as Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox have been found to be vulnerable to a an address bar spoof. A “Spoof” attack is when a malicious software or program is able to imitate a legitimate software or program. In this case, the malicious software imitates the look of the browser’s address bars. Mozilla has since patched the vulnerability, bu as of the date of this article Google has yet to fix the vulnerability in it’s Chrome browser. Read more at Threat Post.
