50% Of North American Companies Think They’re Safer

    In a recent survey of IT managers, directors, and executives in North America, half of them believe that their organizations are safer today than they were a year ago. Patch management, intrusion detection systems, and improved IT security training were reasons cited for this perceived increase in safety.  The results seem to solidify the notion that organizations have to take action and implement greater security controls in order to prevent, detect, and respond to security threats. Read more here at eSecurity Planet.
