Researchers Able to Bypass Chip Card Security

    You may have noticed that most new credit cards now come with a chip installed on them. The chip, known as EMV, is placed on the card and is supposed to add an extra layer of security for credit card holders. Researchers at NRC Corporation demonstrated at the Blackhat security event in Las Vegas that they were able to capture Track 2 data and bypass the chip and pin protections. Read more at Threat Post.
