Manufacturing Predicted to Be Next Large Targets for Ransomware

    Over the past year, multiple hospitals have fallen victim to Ransomware schemes. A recent study by Fortinet suggests that the manufacturing sector is the industry likely to be targeted next by ransomware cyber criminals.  One of the reason why manufacturing may be hit next is the fact that disruption to delivery timetables and just-in-time fulfillment standards in the industry could cause losses in the millions of dollars to the manufacturing companies.
